Alright, here's a funny thing that happened to me personally. Background: I am a female sailor who runs a university sailing program. I teach, but also fix the boats.

One day something broke during a class. I asked a (male) college student to run up to the boat house and get a phillips screwdriver out of the red toolbox. He looked at me and asked, "There is more than one type of screwdriver?"

Yup. There are the kind that have red handles, the kind that have orangey-yellow handles, and the special kind that have black-and-yellow handles. Those are the bumble bee screwdrivers.
