I would love to give an angry reaction to this one, but only because it is so true. I think I spent, correction, am still paying off the vet, about 4-6 grand. AND I'm starting the year with dental work quoted at $1,000.:th:confused:
Starting the year because the appt will be on 1/2.
I did buy insurance for the younger accident prone one, but cant afford it for the old guy.

I feel your pain.
We have a recently adopted bulldog with hip dysplasia and our boxer is just aging.
My daughter's dog has diabetes and it is a very large monthly expensive. Even her feed has to be prescribed. Thats ridiculous, healthy, low carb feed should be available without a prescription.
My son's 17yo border collie mix has cancer and is on hospice. Their cat, 12yo, just had almost every tooth pulled, and their younger dog, 12yo has skin issues requiring allergy shots, the youngest dog is 9 and she had knee surgery last year. Fortunately my dil teaches at a veterinarian school so they get veterinarian care discounts.
