I don't think people buy them thinking an electric car is better for the environment. They just want something new and different. I'm sure that's why my brother got one. My son got one because he could afford it. Honestly, he hardly drives anywhere, and its only 20 minutes to get to work. He could walk or bike it, he said.

My brother says it's fun to drive. Plus it goes like heck when he wants to tailgate someone. I've never driven so I can't be impartial. He is always complaining about something with the car. Wind noise. Odd audio signals but doesn't know what they mean.

I prefer to ride the senior bus. BTW you don't have to be a senior to ride it FREE. If you have a disability(any kind) you can ride regardless of age. All the township buses have wheelchair lifts.

Or is someone else getting stuck with the cost?

If it is 20 minutes to work in a car.......and the car only averages 20mph.... work is still 7 miles from home...long walk or bike ride.... especially if your work is physical..

If a person wants an electric car.. great.. just don’t push one on me...or tell me its green..

I can tell the difference between when it’s raining and someone is urinating on my head...
