View attachment 1618648 Does anyone else snicker in disbelief when they see pristine, white, perfect coops with a plethora of holiday decor and looking like a picture from Country Living? I think coops like that are beautiful, something to aspire to, but rather unrealistic. My white ‘ designer coop’ is spattered in poop, mud and decorated with feathers and sticky shavings, inside and out. The run is mucky, and I haven’t even had time to hang a Christmas wreath on the coop door this year. Perhaps people’s flocks in Social Media are neat and hygenic birds. Mine are chickens. Or maybe they do a thorough power washing and bleaching before every snap of a camera.
And don’t get me started on dog kennels. Those are practically illegal in a Country Living magazine
