Years ago, DB had a raccoon come in, too ... and she stayed for YEARS! Most troublesome "pet" any of us ever dragged home. "Zero stars! Do NOT recommend!"Years ago I had a raccoon come in, came up the stairs and was eating the cats food.... right behind me. I was on the computer and heard nails on the floor. I turned to look and it ran down the stairs, out the cat door. A few minutes later it was back. I chased it and a half hour later it was back. I finally found the slide in board for the door so it didn't come back.
I had found the garbage dumped but the chicken bones were still there. The cat did seem to be eating a lot the week before
