Son wanted a Madagascar hissing cockroach, since hub was against dogs (too much work), cats (too many claws), parakeets (too much poop). . .

He couldn't find any good reason not to have a roach!

Do we not hear stories of them eating mice and frogs? After seeing a 3 day old Serama chick down a 3 inch mega-worm in one slurp that she stole from her mom, I wouldn't doubt a full grown hen downing that bug (or pecking it to pieces first. lol)

Let's just say that if I ever keel over from a heart attack, please Lord, let it not be in the chicken run.
