That happened with C-A-N-D-Y here too. The ladies at a used bookstore kept candy under the counter. They asked my Mom if my little siblings could have "C-A-N-D-Y". Before Mom could open her mouth, my little siblings said, "That's CANDY!". I think the reaction from the used book store lady was more of a "Ah well, I tried" than anything.
