WowI grew up in the suburbs in a house on the corner of 5 roads. Our driveway was somehow pretty hidden, as was our house; maybe people thought our driveway was on the side road instead of the main road.
The town would plow out the 2 streets across from us and deposit the piles directly in front of our driveway. It was always a chore digging out from that salty, icy mountain, until one day my mother had enough. She called the town to complain. They said everyone got snow plowed into their driveway. She said not like this!
They refused to remove the snow, so she got mad and shouted, "If you see an obituary for a 60-year-old woman who died from shoveling snow, that's ME!"
Within 15 minutes, they not only removed the mountain, they plowed the driveway, too, and we never had that problem again.
