Windows 9 actually doesn't "exist". Microsoft skipped it to avoid compatibility issues with Windows 95 and 98 applications.

Still miss my Windows 7. ,,,, Much preferred by me to
Windows 10 that I am using now. I know updates on it are coming to an end soon.
I have other options up my sleeve.
Maybe I'll take on something from the orchard.

Apple stuff has been good to me.

Linux Mint is a option too, I would see if your local nerd can set it up. Not hard to use at all after setup. A guy I know who isn't tech savvy uses it, and he can get around just fine.
