I will kill a black widow or a brown recluse but any other spiders are considered useful eye candy around here. I love to watch them.
I think the black widows are lovely too but one cost me hundreds of dollars in medical bills so I can't get too invested in their lives.

My favorite are the orb weavers. Had one set up home in the hall once. We left her there as a pet.

Spiders here need to live outside.

I think they are beautiful too but they don't always make the best neighbors. As in when walking face-first into one of their webs at night!

So true. By the time I got back to the house from chores I walked into a web that wasn't there when I went out.
