We have such lousy reception that Nothing comes through without Cable. When Cable started raising rates ridiculously high (and often,) I cut that off, too.
When my now-grown kids were younger, Wii lived on the TV, so my big beautiful flat screen was solely for console gaming ... until online gaming stole the show.
So, now - No local TV, No NetFix, No Hulu, Nothing. The appliance formerly known as a television now plays only classic and Holiday movies from my way-too-vast (spelled h-o-a-r-d-i-n-g by some) DVD collection. I have a single game on my PC, which I admit sucks up waaaaaaay too much of my time, so ... nope, no TV here, either!
