Yeah once I asked it to give me quotes from something. I went back and searched the document and absolutely nothing that it gave me was in there. I went back and kind of ranted about it lying (I was mad) and it said something along the lines of: “Yes you’re right!!!!!!! I completely made those up!!! Thanks for pointing out my error!!!!!”

Good idea. I hate AI honestly. Especially the picture stuff, it’s scary. Artificial insemination is still the first thing that comes to mind when I hear AI

My school had a presentation about AI. They said it's programmed to be friendly and to always "help." However, it can't access anything copyrighted. So if you ask it to quote from a copyrighted source, it will make things up rather than disappoint you. And yes, it will absolutely apologize for telling you false information. All of which makes me ask myself why I would use something that I will have to fact-check. It's faster to just look for facts directly.
