But you don't want to leave it on your porch or they may want to seek revenge.
If you leave it on the porch of your neighborhood arch enemy, and it doesn't get stolen, they will bring it in and open it. Win either way.
But no, I don't spend a lot of time thinking about this.

Alligators are actually one of the predators you have to plan for in S. Louisiana, even in the city.

The same with crocodiles which is why they will see you in a while.
