My school had a presentation about AI. They said it's programmed to be friendly and to always "help." However, it can't access anything copyrighted. So if you ask it to quote from a copyrighted source, it will make things up rather than disappoint you. And yes, it will absolutely apologize for telling you false information. All of which makes me ask myself why I would use something that I will have to fact-check. It's faster to just look for facts directly.

A teacher friend plans to have kids get AI to write a report, then manually fact check it to correct the errors. Brilliant!

Night before last, my son and his friend, Jessie, went rabbit hunting.
They were walking back to the truck and they heard something and stopped.
My son looks down and a possum was by his foot.
He kicked the possum and it landed on his friend.
His friend started hollering and jumping.
The possum was hissing and flailing around on Jessie.
Wish I could have seen it.
