How could I refuse such an offer?!
Unfortunately, I'm not interested in propagating stock with huge pits unless I find a use for them.

For me, being middle aged, I just go for things now. I decided I would love peafowl walking about on our new place and impulsively went for it. I ordered eggs off eBay not having any expectations (maybe zero to one might hatch). 4 out of 5 eggs hatched. A whole new adventure, for sure! They are the reason I formally joined BYC as I had no idea what I was doing. They are almost 6 months old and doing great.

I thought a peacock would be cool to have..... one showed up and was cool for a week. He started flirting with my turkeys and they tried to kill him. He then was in my garden and on the roof.

Most of his tail feathers were gone.

I had found the owner, but couldn't catch him. There were sightings in town for a week. Finally Someone else got him.

Apparently 3 were chased from home by coyotes. 2 were caught and one got killed by a car
