I have a big patch of purple irises, but every year, a single white one blooms. Where it came from, I don’t know. All my irises except for this one are purple.

Each year we welcome random thistles that plant themselves in our yard. They are exotic, wildly beautiful, require no care, and they are butterfly magnets!

Not trying to advertise, but there’s a forum I belong to called garden.org. They have an excellent plant ID section. You could post your pictures of this plant there and they could identify it for you!
