The Scarlets have just a few weeks left for this blooming season, now the Pinks are starting.
And in a few weeks, the prickly pear will bloom with its yellow/orange/pink flowers.
This is replacing the scrub daisies for entry 4, please.

I find it difficult to photograph flowers that fall in the magenta colour range because, for some reason unknown to me, the pinks and purples often appear flat (especially when photographing roses). I think you did a lovely job with this photograph as the pink flowers appear multidimensional in colour.

I've noticed that too, pinks and oranges tend to wash out.
Thanks, the camera does all the work, I just have to make sure I don't kneel on a cactus.

Yeah, it's gonna be my only entry anyway. Not a big photographer so I just thought I'd throw it in anyway.
