Hey ya'll!! I'm back from a week in the sun. I've gotten beach sand in places there shouldn't be sand!!

Was fun! Our family has been going to this particular campground for over 30 years. Now the great grandkids are going down there with my folks too.

Monday night I won $50 at Bingo!

Crabbing wasn't so hot. 14 crabs in 2 days. Caught bunches but they were all under the 5 inch limit or were females with eggs. Family downed those on Friday night in spaghetti sauce. I helped with the 2 dozen "little neck" clams. They were gone before we got out fill, lol.

Did a bit of kayaking with my sister and her granddaughter. Court just scooted that kayak around like a pro. Had bought Spook some Doggles (doggie goggles/sunglasses) a few days before the trip. She sat on her seat just styling and profiling. I'll post pictures when I get them developed.

We had to pack everything up Friday afternoon because there was suppose to be a bad storm coming across the bay. The whole campground was helping each other out getting batten down. Ended up lasting 20 minutes with not much of a bang.

But I'm home now, sand is gone, and I'm excited about getting my patches to finish off the quilt. The patches are really great!!

Hello. Hope this Sunday afternoon finds all of you doing well.
I'm so relieved that my blocks made it to Scrambled Egg. I can relax and work on the next project. I do have the Fall colors blocks to work on, thankfully they are all cut and some are pinned and waiting in a tub.
It's been crazy weather here - unseasonably cool. I'm not complaining! It's got me thinking about dragging out my flannel quilt again. I started it late last summer and I was stuck on the border. But, I think I have that figured out and picked up some fabric Friday. This quilt if for my DH and me and I really hope to have it done for us to use this Winter.

I do hope you all like my block once you see it in person. I like it's whimsical look. I thought it went with the them.
Thanks for all your kind words.

Enjoy the day!

Hope yall are ok with my blocks. The windows and grass came from my Nana's vintage stash I inherited. I did have to use different material on the grass here and there because there wasn't much in there I liked for grass colors
