Okey Dokey Here's my test Barn Block. If anyone has any suggestions about a different color for any part let me know. Just be kind.

This is only the second block I have paper pieced. See, I'm trying to do something sutside my comfort zone.....Amy, I did what you suggested about adding grass and sky to make it 12.5 inches. What do you think?

Do y'all think I should have added grass and sky on both sides?

Beverly, nice work. Only thing I would suggest is moving the barn over to the right a bit so that there is a bit of space for joining the block.

I have left the one quarter inch seam allowance on it, but you are saying that I need to add grass and sky to both sides?

I am waiting on my fabric to be delivered. I ordered some that I thought was nice on a fabric sale website. It should be here by friday!

I am torn between my big blue orp roo colors and my big red orp roo as my quilt rooster!
