I have washed almost 5 loads of fabric here . Going to have to wash more soon. Sure wish it came pre-washed.

That would be so awesome but probably a fortune since it takes so long to just get it out of the washer and cut all those stringy knots!!!!

My fabric came friday and some yesterday. I am washing mine today so I can get started.

I finally have all of mine cut except for some tail feathers and waiting for more fabric on those. Have all the main bodies sewn to the interfacing and the wings not the little pieces yet though..they are a bit more tricky! Unless you have a cutter Prissy it will take you a few evenings to cut all those rooster pieces, that is the most time consuming part I think. good luck

I learned along time ago to wash my fabric as it came in the house. I iron as I go but I wash when it comes in the door.

I have a ? I was given all of my grandmother's fabric and some of my Aunt's and I was wondering how do you tell if it is 100% cotton? And do yall mind if I use it. I have seen the reproduction stuff and laugh cause I have the real mccoy.

scrambled egg you will save alot of time and tanglles if you zig zag raw edges beforeyou wash fabric.

It is also good to use the dye grabber sheets so you can wash all colors together in warm water and they don't bleed into one another.
