We HAVE to hear from Moodene or replace her by tomorrow....another replacement or a note from Moodene please...staying with the July 15th end date so everyone needs to be winding up this swap here shortly...........

Moodene posted on the forum 2 weeks ago and is a golden feather member...can't imagine that she would just drop out of the swap like that but then I don't know her at all so not sure....hmmmm, now I'm in a pickle and not sure what to do...replace her or not???!!! I think alot of people lurk and dont post so I'm going to assume she has internet access so if she doesn't post by tomorrow, I'll replace her but the window for replacing her will be short and the July 15th date will not change...worst case scenario is that we will have a 19 block village and have to make up a 20th block on our own (the ones already sent would get their extra back)...so I guess that'll be the plan...hear from her by tomorrow or she's counted out for non-participation...sorry to sound so harsh but we are all a bit tired of this swap dragging on and on and on......

IF, that is IF you have to replace her......see if you can get 4 people to do 5 extra blocks (someone that hasn't already sent theirs in).

Is she doing the chicken block? haven't looked. If you want to do this I can pump out 5 chicken blocks if others will help, this way it won't be so hard on one person. I just know that I can't do all 20 blocks.

Moodene had the General store block. It would be fine with me if she can't do it and we just leave it go.

If that happens then instead of making a store block then I am just going to make a block and write everyones name who was in the swap. I will write their name, town, state and BYC name, I will do it in the order I place the blocks. I can do this with my sister's $10,000 machine has to be good for something.

I sure hope we hear from Moodene and that all is well but if not that is my back up plan.


I missed Prairiegirl saying she would do the block, but I am sure glad to see her on here and helping us all out. Welcome Prairiegirl.

Sorry to hear Miss P is not doing so well, not easy to be hurting and having a small boy and a farm to look after will say extra prayers for her and her family tonight.

I can make up some blocks. Request: Can I use my own rooster pattern? It would be a 12 1/2 inch block. I can resize it in electric quilt. It would take me a couple or three weeks to make them. Please let me know.

Hi Ma!! Nice to hear from you again

If by tomorrow we haven't heard from Moodene I'll swap you out with her but she was doing a general store block...is it possible for you to do a store block? We'd love to have to you if Moodene is a no show by tomorrow. If the store block is not something Ma wants to make and Moodene doesn't show by tomorrow will everyone give a vote about whether you would want another chicken/roo instead of a store? I'm easy and my vote will go with the majority..so please say so folks....question is....if Moodene does not commit by tomorrow and we take her off the list, would it matter to you if Ma Kettle does another chicken/roo block as opposed to the store? (course if she wants to do the store block that would be awesome too)..let me know please...thanks!!
