BYCville Town Quilt Block Swap SIGNUPS CLOSED

Just an update, I will be done today. Thank God. When I was doing my last piecing my GD must have cut the freezer paper with the pattern upside down which made the comb of the chicken upside down.

So last night I cut out 20 more. If I have the time I will put eyes on them. I’m going to see if my machine will do that. I’m sure it will.

Well back upstairs to get done. After I check out all my emails. I took off work today to get these done. Don’t tell anyone.

Scrambled, I’m going to see if I saved your address, if not I will PM you.

A word of advice, never take a pattern that’s 9 inch square and try and make it 12 inch square.

Guess FrChuck is forcing us to have a hole in the middle of our quilt. Or, if we look on the bright side it would be the "town square".

I think I really am going to make a town square block. Could be a log cabin pattern with grassy colors?

Lori this is totally uncalled for. I informed Scrambled of this weeks ago when I was informed by the organizer of the monthly swaps that she was getting complaints from other swap members about the quality of my blocks. I informed her that rather than send in blocks that people thought weren't good enough and ruining the quilt I would withdraw from participating in this project.

I had my pieces all cut out, and was halfway through sewing them together when this all came out.

Please ya'll not on this thread with the personal/gushy/mushy/arguing/so sorry/putting down/foot stomping....whatever stuff about this issue or I'll ask a moderator to close this thread immediately....pm each other if you feel the need to discuss it. Yes Chuck told me he might not be finishing and for the same reasons listed, I told him I didn't know what to say about that.......and no we would not have split it up, this swap has been the never ending story and it is finished today. All stragglers are getting their blocks in asap, I've talked to most of them and if someone falls out, then do like Zoo is planning and make your own block (blocks)...there will be no replacements at this point, this swap is closed, finished, over, completed and blocks should be in the mail absolutely as soon as possible.

Stragglers...get your blocks finished and in the mail..........
