Hi there! I'm also in Aiken. We are currently living in the city with 5 hens and some very tolerant neighbors. We have a house underway further out where we will be able to have many more. I'm looking into black copper marans and easter eggers (ok so I'm partial to the olive green eggs my lil EE lays) We would also like to raise some meat chickens. Is there any place around here that will process your chickens for you? I see on other meat threads about people packing up their chickens to take to the processor. We could do it ourselves but in the grand scheme where time=money I wouldnt mind paying a bit per bird for them to come back to me in a cooler.

My wife's favorite--We have 1 of these WHITE

We have 2 or 3 of these CINNAMON

We have 2 of these GOLDEN

All the rest are these BROWN
