Thanks Stan,
I think I have convinced my DH and my daughter that they will be fine. We spread a nice thick layer of straw out on the floor of the coop which messed them up this weekend. Rooster wasn't to sure of that new yellow grass on his floor. He would put one foot in and then take it back out, put it in again and take it back out. Finally he walked in and the hens followed. When I get home, they are all sitting together on their roost. Figure they are pretty comfy.
