How does Saturday, October 15th soumd for a Chickenstock in Augusta?

Just a little FYI, I found Rock-A-Doodle at the $5 bargain bin at walmart in Waynesboro yesterday. I looked online and couldn't find it for less than like $30 bucks! It's a cute little chicken movie I remember as a kid and wanted my little boy to be able to see it too! For those of you who may not remember the movie its about a rooster named Chantecler that goes to the city and is like Elvis... Just wanted to let you guys know in case you may want the movie for your kids or grandkids, or yourself!

I just got my first three eggs this week (thanks FarmerJohn; I'm sure they came from the Comets).

That means each egg is worth only $400 based on the cost of building our first coop and run...

In the coop, full sized Guineas need 4 sq ft of floor space per bird. And they like high perches. Their run size depends on how much free range time they will get, but I would not have it any smaller than the coop size, and it should be covered or they will just fly out. They don't have to be confined to just their coop for 6 weeks like some say they do, but they do need to be confined to whatever their home is going to be for 4-6 weeks so they don't just fly off as soon as they are let out to free range.
