Hey Gregg! Nice to meet you today. Yeah, I know what you mean about my camera, it does that to me, too!

Yup, great chicken tips. Now I'm wondering about worming chickens. So much to learn...

Hi Rob! We were pretty lucky to get those tables. Would they charge us to reserve a shaded spot? That seemed to be our biggest obstacle today. Still, Emily saved the day with that shade cover. I sure learned a lot by doing this. (note to self: bring bandaids for Alana next time...)

Thanks also for the Raising Chickens for Dummies Book.

I'll have to chase you down for an autograph sometime.

It was meeting all of you today, glad that I could make the event and it was worth the drive to be a part of the Bay Area Chickenstock Summer 2009.

Stephanie will email me about possible dates for Chickenstock Fall 2009? Lots of great places to visit around Santa Cruz: beaches, camp grounds, etc.

Very awesome that you made the drive! Definitely made me think we should give a prize for the person who comes the farthest. Maybe some of your chicken meetup friends would join us if we came down that way? There were so many people who said they would come if it was a little later. Is it too early to start thinking of a date?

Hi Stephanie,

Our planning may be centered around our "out of state" visitor from Maryland. I can attend almost any weekend, unless I have previous plans.

We can begin thinking about where we want to meet. Beach Boardwalk is easy to find and fun for the kids. State Park Beaches to the south: New Brighton, Seacliff and Manresa.

*Bring that great big BYC banner* I am sure that some of my chicken Meetup friends will want to attend. The August 1st date wasn't good for them.

Fall season (after school in back in session) is the best time of the year around here.

Keep in touch,

Sorry you couldn't make it.

If we do something in Santa Cruz, we'll have to figure out how to get Pamela to come.

Santa Cruz County Fair Sept 15-20th (Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds in Watsonville). I go every year...

Saturday the 19th? Livestock (CHICKENS!), carnival rides for the kids, food and drink, etc.

7 weeks and counting?

Hi,

Sorry about the late show but my son's father was doing some maintenance on the computer. I am working on the pictures now. I loved meeting you all.
