Went down to check my eggs my incubator was running too hot! Over 130..... it did the same thing last year around this time. And I replaced the therosat .it should have lasted more then a year. Makes no sense. My Bator runs all year long. Could it be something else wrong with it? Also is there a way I can put something on it to shut down when it gets over a certain temperature? I'd really hate for this thing to catch on fire and burn the house down.

You can buy a reptile thermostat that you plug the incubator into then just place the probe in the incubator and if the temp gets lets say a degree to hot the back up thermostat will take over and control the temperature.
