Double R Supply has a good deal for at least 25 chicks with no shipping taxes

I bought 25 chicks from Cackle Hatchery last spring. Had no trouble at all, takes a while to get the babies usually cause they put the eggs into incubate when you place your order. But if you are going with the cackle surprise you may have luck getting them a lot sooner.

Anyway very smooth transaction, and I thought the prices were reasonable. I love to watch my babies peck around the yard. I never tried to show them but all of the chicks grew up healthy and true to breed.

If we ever need to order more babies we will stick with cackle. I had my first baby hatch out from one of my cackle babies this morning!! Yay, I'm excited but it wasn't exactly planned so I have been on here all day today trying to figure out what is best for them. I have gotten lots of good advice. Good Luck!

I have gotten one order from them in the past and 4 - 6 (cant remember exactly) died the first 3 days. Also I have heard from at least 10 other people that they are really good at messing up orders, not delivering correct amounts even in seperate shipments, and the way they ship them loosing the chicks or sending them to the wrong post office. I would recomend IDEAL poultry. Ive always heard good things about them they dont have a chick limit instead they have a 25 DOLLAR limit so around 35-36 dollars total, they are actually cheaper than all the other hatcheries I have looked at, and they have the largest selection of birds in the USA (apparently)
