Cackle Hatchery buyers?

Super fast delivery, perfect chicks--all alive, all very active, not even a single pasty butt, and I ordered 25 and received 26. My local feed stores all order from Cackle, and I see lots of healthy chicklets in the stores, too. They are hard to reach at peak spring hatching season, but once you get them, they are helpful and take the time to talk to you.

I recently got some from Mt. Healthy I ordered from a local feed store and they have all been really healthy. Sorry no experience w/ cackle though.

I ordered from Mcmurray this spring. Ordered 25 rarest of the rare and 5 blue andalusians (2 roos 3 pullets) I got two free chicks plus and extra andalusian roo. Fine with me this is my first time with chickens and I wanted a little bit of everything and that is what I got. I lost two but that was long enough after I got them it should of been anything to do with the hatchery.

What I got was
1 white crested black polish hen
1 golden poslish roo
4 white laced red cornish hens i think
2 buttercup hens Lost one
1 splash cochin
2 patridge cochin 1 has a lot of black someone mentioned melanizer
3 blue cochin
1 silver penciled rock
2 Black Langshan
2 sumatra 1 each i think
2 golden phoenix 1 each i think
1 silver phoenix hen think I lost the roo was before I ID but was similiar
1 silver gray dorking roo
2 cuckoo Marans 1 each I think

Then my Blue Andalusians which 1 roo and hen are splash

I am very happy and unfortunatly planning on some more next year

just ordered 15 from cackle...they sent 16.
all seem healthy and happy (they are just over 1 week old).

Okay, Cackle came today!
I got the fancy duck surprise- ordered 15, they sent 17- all healthy
I ordered Mille Fleurs- again, ordered 15, they sent 18 healthy
I ordered 5 barred cochins, and it looks like 4 girls and a boy!!! WOOT!
Now, for the last part...I think they sent splash cochin bantams and I ordered white? White would be all white/yellow without color, right?? I may have to call them, the invoice said WHITE. I did order Splash for next week to come, maybe they got them out earlier? Dunno

I orderered 5 each Buff Orps, RLW, and EE's from Cackle the first of June. They shipped on June 15, arrived June 17th. They sent an extra of each and 2 extra Orps. All were healthy and happy and went directly to eating and drinking when put in the brooder. We only lost 1 at 1 week old for unknown reasons. Very happy. I would order from them again.

I happen to live in Lebanon Missouri where cackle hatchery is. I go there when I want to see what they have. If you are getting silkies from them they are sure to have them. The people that do the breeding for them are held at very strict standards. They breed basically for free and get to keep the birds after the first year is up. I have only had one problem with them and that is that they are extremely busy. The last two years they sell out of birds fast!!!! Would I buy from them again? You bet I would they are extremely professional and friendly, always giving extras to me.
