Cackle Hatchery? Good or Bad? A few questions too?

I have a few questions?
Can you mix ducks and chicks to equal the 15 minimum? Or do I have to buy 15 ducklings and 15 chicks?
If you have ordered from cackle, what breed are the extras and roos or pullets?
What chicken/duck breeds does cackle do the best and worst with?
This is not really to do with cackle, but any hatcheries that have a special with chicks and a few ducklings(10 chicks and 5 ducks)?
Or should I just go to the feed store? The guy is a poultry expert and will special order breeds. I can also see them before I buy them and have no limits.

I never personally ordered from them so I couldn't say either way but in that forum you can read many reviews on them.

I bought my silkies from them and I love them! They didn't include packing peanuts (extra roos)...but did give me some extras of what I ordered.

I would order from them again.

I ordered fifteen pullets, 5X EEs, 5X Speckled Sussex, and 5X Welsummers in Sept. They hatched and shipped in early October. Gave 11 to my aunt and kept 4 ourselves. They are fully feathered, fat and happily living outside now with the rest of our flock. As far as health of the chicks, other than one very messed up one eye'd cross beak EE chick they all were perky and hungry as anything upon arrival. All eating and drinking well within minutes of placing in the brooder and no problems whatsoever with any chicks since. 100% pullets as well from what I can tell. I'd definitely order from them again. And, in fact, intend to this spring. Probably some Black Copper Marans, Brahmas, and some geese for my cousin as it will be a "group order" again.
