Cackle Hatchery issues (I do not suggest using them)

So you did receive the number of live female chicks you paid for. I would say the hatchery does not owe you any refunds.

That’s a great rate then often the extra hatcheries include is a boy. Although wait... maybe that’s what happened here??? Did you get the right number of sexlinks plus an extra or one short?

But in the first post of this thread, you complained that they did not give you any refunds.

I do not understand why "no refund" is a problem, if you have the right number of live female chicks.

Just hopping on here to say if this is true, that's the worst possible business practice. Many people buying chicks aren't allowed to have roosters. I know with Meyer Hatchery (only hatchery I've ever used), they state if you order meat birds, your extra will be a meat bird, if you order laying hens your extra will be a laying hen.

I am just creating this thread to talk about my issues I have had with cackle hatchery.
1- they sent me a chicken with 4 legs!
2- After talking to customer service about said chicken- they totally blew me off and didn't respond back to me for WEEKS
3- After I did get in touch with CS they told me there was nothing the could do and no refunds were given.
4- One of my sex links was clearly a rooster based off of color and I had ordered all females.
5- No refunds were given for that either.
I am overall not happy with them. Fell free to disagree or share your stories too!

Thats why you should use meyers hatchery or mypetchicken.com those are the only hatcherys I trust and there really great mc murray hatchery shipping wise is good bt bird qauilty wise is horrible there cream legbars are messed up I have no idea whats in their breeding pen whats so ever same with their red laced cronish and many other breeds.

That is true but I did expect a refund (at the time) for clover.

Thats why you should use meyers hatchery or mypetchicken.com those are the only hatcherys I trust and there really great mc murray hatchery shipping wise is good bt bird qauilty wise is horrible there cream legbars are messed up I have no idea whats in their breeding pen whats so ever same with their red laced coronish and many other breeds.

I will keep that in mind- I used cackle because i heard they were show quality
