Cackle Hatchery?? Problems with communication

Two weeks ago I ordered 20 chicks from Cackle Hatchery using the Internet. They state that within ten days they will send an email conforming the order. I have not received such email and was just wondering if this is normal or should I be worried that my order was not made. If anyone has dealt with Cackle before please let me know what you think. Thanks

Yep just call them but be prepared to hit the redial! Sometimes patience is needed!

yes, I ordered from them and did not get a conformation for several days......if you call get a chair you'll be there awhile. I called and called and never did get any thing but a busy sig.

So I took your advice and called the hatchery. They were very helpful and nice on the phone. However they did not have either of my two orders I placed online in their computer. I then placed my orderon the phone and should be getting my chicks Friday the 7th. I'm every excited and cant wait for my new birds to arrive. If you are planning on placing an order online with Cackle you might want to phone it in instead. They are very easy and pleasent to talk to on the phone plus they knew exactaly when I would be getting my birds and the shipping was cheeper on my phone order than it was online.

I used them a couple weeks ago over Mcmurray, do to they allow a 15 bird min unlike Mcmurray's 25, I decided to call instead of using the online services and the were great! They do seem a little busy but they are very helpfull and nice, my girls arrived exactly when I was told they would and everyone is doing fine!

My mom ordered the end of June from them. We got our chickens 7-10-09. We did order them by phone. All chickens arrived alive and active. We only lost one of them and that was about a week later. I think it maybe had some issues during growth. It was fine when it came. The redial is a definite with them. I wish they had an 800 number.

I have made many purchases from them in the past years; 4 orders alone this year. Very good stock and healthy animals. McMurray also was fine to use. cackle is a shorter shipping distance for me to.

I ordered blue silkies from them. Got the email confirmation a day or 2 later. They pushed back the shipp date about 3 times because of bad hatches with there silkies but when i did get the 15 (19 total) blue silkies they where all happy and healthy and very lively. They always called me when they had to change the shp date and the ladies on the line where very friendly. I understand about bad hatches so i wasnt to miffed myself but putting down a substitute order next time I think.
