Cackle hatchery problems

So, I was wondering if you guys knew if there was anything I could do about my situation.

We ordered 6 sexed BR pullets, 6 RiR pullets, and 5 mixed geese.

On day 2 we lost a RiR pullet, which is to be expected,

and then about 3 weeks after we got them, 4 of the 5 geese died out of nowhere. I'm not too worried about this, because at 3 weeks old it likely wasn't the hatcheries fault.

Well now, i'm pretty sure that the BR's are all roosters, and the RiR's have red combs too. Would the hatchery refund us for this? and how would we go about contacting them?

How old are the chicks now? Are you certain they are cockerels?

From Cackle's website:
Pullet Sexing Guaranteed * 95%. We guarantee on a 100 paid pullet order that you will receive at least * 95 pullets (assuming all the chicks survived to be counted). If we make an error and we did not live up to our stated guarantee, we will refund the pullet purchase price on under 95%. In other words if you have over 5% that are roosters of your pullet order we should be able to refund at pullet price over the 5%. Claims must be sent directly to us when chicks are not more than 12 weeks old. We have one of the best rated and multiple gender selecting methods in the industry, however, still it is only about 95% accurate. We do not have any guarantees on percentages on males or females for assorted chicks or straight run chicks.

Just curious. Did your BR's definitely turn out to be roosters? Just asking as I'm anxiously watching my almost 5 week old BR's from Cackle. This is my first time with chickens so don't really have the experience to know what to expect.

PDFarm, I'm sure people can help you out over in the "What breed and gender" forum--just start a thread with some pictures. By now there are bound to be people that can help you out. Barred Rocks are generally easy because the cockerels will be lighter, while the pullets are darker.

Thanks. I've looked at pics. on the Barred Rock threads. Mine just don't seem to fit the profile. They are supposed to be pullets. They did send an extra BR so don't know if that will also be a pullet. Just saw this post and wondered if there was an issue with Cackle's BR's being correctly sexed. If I can figure out how to post pics I will do that. I live on a farm so not the end of the world if I have a roo!
