Cackle Hatchery Question

Their minimum order is 15 chicks. Does anyone know if I can mix ducks and chicks to achieve the minimum? Some hatcheries ship their ducks from a separate location and so you can't do that, but I didn't see anything about that in the catalog.

I really want Ancona ducks, but only need about five. It's hard to find Anconas!

Best to just call them and ask and see what they can do.

You probably already found out, but yes you just get a few ducks to meet the minimum 15 chick order. I found this on their website:

"No minimum on turkeys, ducks, or geese if shipped with other birds to make the 15 total minimum chicks ordered. "
