I got the rare breed special (15 of them!) two weeks ago. One was failure to thrive but the others have been HARDY. There were two we were worried were FTT as well and some TLC has them growing now! They may just be small breeds but they’re all wonderful! We had one that was an eye pecker too (a Polish of all things!) but he’s not only grown out of it, but is super sweet with some babies we added. There have been absolutely no other health issues and the variety was STELLAR.

We’ve got 10 more rare breed special and 10 of the top hat special coming June 25th and we can’t wait! It definitely was a pleasant experience and they helped me when I chose the date wrong and fixed it no questions.

That was how I read it, but was not 100% sure.

Per their FAQ: 3 per breed/color for females or straight run, 1 for males. For bantams and Guineas it’s 5 per breed/color.
Regarding the males, I doubt they’d ship a solitary chick, but can’t find that info.
