Cackle hatchery's Hatchery Surprise- Anybody got this before?

Got 47 and that's including 2 turkeys, 4 turkens, 3 bantam red Cochins, 2 houdans, 9or 10 white who knows what,a standard black cochin, and about 4 Easter eggers.

i didnt get a box this time they were to backed up so i got bought a few breeds for fair and we might buy a box later in the year

Same here mine ships march 23rd. Urg the wait is killing me! Since I doubt ill get what I requested im getting ducks at tsc and i ordered goslings from ideal. Lol

I got some Silkies in the surprise box a couple years ago.  I kept them because I wanted broodies.  They were, without a doubt, the dumbest chickens I have ever had to deal with.  They free-ranged, and here is what I had written on instructions for when I wasn't home to lock up animals, "Silkies--chase them around while yelling at them -lock them in something."  I assume because they couldn't see, those birds never  learned to go into the coop, and they would run away from everything and try to roost in the dumbest places.  They were potentially worse than the heritage turkeys--however they were at least small and quiet.  Now I just sell any that come in the surprise box.

I agree. I had silkies lasy year. One hatched 3-4 chicks.....then ate them. So she was eaten...by me. Lol if i get silkies in my box hoping i dont get them and polish i might keep one to hatch out goslings since I apparently cant.

Mine ships late March and I've got my fingers crossed for a few naked necks. Other than those I just like the variety and guessing the breeds. Can't wait!!

MINE SHIPS MARCH 16TH...AND I AGREE THAT THE FUN WITH THESE SURPRISE BOXS ARE TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE HECK THEY ARE. ITS LIKE SOLVING A PUZZLE. I REALLY DONT WORRY TO MUCH WHAT IM GETTING AS YOU GET ENOUGH VARIETY TO CHOOSE WHAT YA WANNA KEEP. I HAD A BLAST WITH THESE BOXS LAST YEAR. I NEVER SEEN SOME OF THE BREEDS I GOT SO IT WAS VERY INTERESTING AND EXCITING!!
