I did ask for bantams in the comments section but I'm not sure if they really pay attention...I hope they do! A pound difference is crazy! I guess I had 'forgotten' to mention to my husband how many birds we might be getting...he didn't understand why I wanted to go to TSC and get another set of feeders/waterers and an extra heat lamp...oooopps!I bet you get a lot of bantams. You said in the comments you liked bantams right?
yelnad-do you know the breed of the chick you have for your profile pic? One of mine (the bantam from TSC) looks just like it and we have no idea what she (fingerscrossed!) is. She has dark legs (slate maybe?) and a few feathers going down but none on her toes. I posted a pic on 'what breed' and I got a couple of responses that thought OEGB but that was before I mentioned the feathered legs and I haven't heard back!
I hope you order the surprise next year...at this rate I don't think my husband will let me order it again (and they aren't even here yet!)![]()
