Cage or Coop & Run???

Sounds like something I saw on another post where they couldn't figure out what happened to their meaties that were in with their other chickens. Think I'll wait til next year for meaties. Not sure I'm really ready to do the processing yet anyway.

I am doing meat birds for the first time this year and I would not sugjest mixing them with the other birds at all there eating habits and sleeping habits are so very different. I have mine seperated from the others and just cant believe the difference in the actions i have never in my life seen such lazy chicks I raised up the feeders so they had to stand to eat and at least move back and forth from the waterer. I really dont think they would be able to defend themself from the other chickens at all.
