Cairn Terriers....

A friend of my daughters gave her a one year old female Cairn terrier to bring home.(Yikes....like I really NEED another dog.)Apparently the dog barked too much when in the kennel. We havent had that problem, probably cause she isnt bored?
I am familiar with terriers but have never had a Cairn.
Is there anything particular I should know about them?

I have a Cairn terrier and he's my buddy. He's a great mouser and is great with the chickens. He even travels with me. You'll love them.

Smart dogs.......... inquisitive and can be a very good bonus to your flock. Can be a bad thing to......... so, stear your new friend to the life of a great Cairn protector.
