I have a problem with one of my hens (exbatts) who lays every day a shelless or thin shell egg. They have oyster and eggshell available every day but the situation doesn't change. I would like to try to give her some extra calcium, but Calcium citrate + vit D is quite expensive while Dicalcium phosphate (640 mg) + vit D (5 mcg) + Magnesium (300 mg) is pretty cheaper. Can I try to give her one tablet a day? it's the same or it isn't suitable to avoid her problem? May someone help me please? Maybe @azygous, @aart or someone else? Any advice is very appreciate, I thank you in advance for your replies.
