Calcium for Egg Bound Hen

One of my bantam hens is egg bound. My question is about calcium citrate + VitD3 tablets. Is this something that can be absorbed even though the crop is stalled? Thank you

I use the liquid kind you get at TS
It’s 1ml by syringe
I haven’t used pill form so I can’t answer on that

You can give that orally. I believe most give 1 ml orally.

I would think so. Calcium citrate is the quickest absorbed tablet.

It really does
Once you open it keep it in the fridge
It will have a rubber lid
I poked a hole with a knife then I can push in a syringe
Turn it upside down and get it out without issues
