Greetings, I've been in the process of calibrating my hygrometers. Following the steps given on the net. You know: "salt and water to the consistance of wet sand" at room temp.
Have you seen what happens when the room temprature goes up 10 degrees? Five degrees or a draft will make a difference. I put my hygrometer into the incubator, while still inclosed in with the wet salt, It went from 75 to 88% in 10 minutes.
Room temprature in this room is 78 degrees, at that temprature it may read 75 precent but we use our hygrometers at or near 100degrees.
What's your thought? Thankyou.
Richard
