I have some calico bantam cochins (smooth feather) growing out right now along with some red, white, black and buff bantam cochins. Some of these are frizzled and some smooth. I plan to have one pen of calico roo with just calico hens, but as usual it looks like I'll have an extra roo or 2. I'd like to setup another pen with a calico roo over buff, red, black and white hens, some frizzled.
I'm curious what colors would come from mixing a calico roo with solid hens? Also, would the calico "smear" with these colors or would some come out one color and some the other? I'm referring to the solid colors here.
