This is my current Calico project roo, Dempsey. At the moment, he and the hens he is over are all heavy black. Their mothers are all Mille/Calico.
I am considering putting him over my Blue hen, Lady Stark, and seeing how her blue works with his coloring. I'm pretty new to breeding, but I believe the blue should dilute Dempsey's black and possibly give me some pretty offspring.
What do you guys think?
