California Grey?? And hopefully pullets?

I bought three chicks at the feed store and they are supposed to be Ca Grey. I have had one CaGrey in the past but the coloring did not look like this. It was more like a barred rock coloring. Do you think these are CaGray? Or what naught they be if they are not?
What about gender? Pullets hopefully.
