I am in Ventura County also, in Camarillo. Our coop is almost finished and I was wondering where and what kind of feed you buy? We are allowed to have no more than five chickens so we will get five. What kind do you have?

Quite a few peeps went to FaceBook "California Poultry People" and I know that there are alot of folks up your way....Check it out...LOL

Its a loong story about why we "defected" from BYC...but they can help you there.....
. CONGRATS on your soon to come, new birdies!!!! What ssre you going to get? There are a TON of peeps for sale on that FB site from good people, so...........

im so excited im getting some little silkie chicks tomorrow!! also speaking of that if there is anyone in san diego who wants some white silkie roosters let me know. i'm getting 4-5 chicks to make sure i get 1-2 girls and giving away the rest! silkies are an awesome breed, but i just cant have any roosters.
