There are always people swapping selling trading, so be patient and some one will come along.....

So sorry to hear about your loss!

Keep looking at the BYC adds at the bottom of the index and of course Craigs lists. BTW you just missed four very pretty pullets from Lancaster.
they came to Ridgecrest instead. So check frequently !

Hey Chef Mike! The two pullets I got from you this spring are laying. I was surprised that the splash lays a darker egg than the black one! Anyway they're still small but very tasty(the eggs, I mean

), and the splash has been laying pretty frequently. They're both nice big girls - thanks for hooking me up!

Hello Cynthia

... Glad to hear that you and your girls are doing good! I have had a few of the splash girls lay very nice eggs so not very surprising to me. If they just started laying give them some time and they should get bigger and possibly even darker. I ended up selling most of my splash stock but held onto my original splash girl and have her with the big blue copper boy. She just got done hatching out 5 of six eggs she went broody on and mom and dad have been doing an awesome job raising them. I've got silkies running around everywhere also. These girls just won't stop going broody. So that being said if anyone in SoCal is looking for nice quality silkies let me know I have then in white and partridge right now. Also have a few marans left too.
