My rooster died!!!! I am not sure but I am thinking snake was the cause. Unfortunately, my chicken lady has decided to stop hatching. I am in need of a rooster. Buff Orpington or RIR or something of similar color with high production rates in the genes. I was looking forward to babies after the heat but that wont happen unless I replace.

Needs to be at least 5 months old and no older than 1 1/2 years

I live in salton city= anyone in palm springs area or brawley or el centro area

I haven't seen the other place yet, but I would rather sit in the grass under the trees while my chickens also play in the grass. I am disappointed that the city still has not the addressed the other questions like; waiving the fees and insurance requirements, putting our event on their calendar so we don't have this problem in the future. I was hoping that they would be more accommodating, but I wasn't expecting it.

Look on evangelist, I have seen quite a few free boosters. I'm sure there would be a few out in that area. I'm sorry about your rooster, that sucks. Good luck

I know a lady in Norco who rescues unwanted roos and finds them homes - she doesn't want to see them go into a stew pot. Do you want her number? She'll be tickled to find a home for one of her roos and has all breeds available. PM me if interested?

Hi everyone,

Is anyone near Anaheim and willing to check in on my 6 girls 2-3 times between Sep 3-11? I'm going out of town, and I would love to have an experienced eye take a look at them while I'm gone. They are fully self-sufficient in their run, so it's just a matter of making sure no one is bleeding, and maybe giving them some treats and loving on them a little.

I can repay you in many favors, manual labor, a small amount of cash, Disneyland entry, or future eggs.
