I finally decided being a chicken enthusiast is rewarding as a hobby and provides cheap therapy in addition to eggs, but doesn't offer much in the way of cost recovery...

Never a truer word spoken!!!!

From the Crazy H-Bar Ranch and Hatchery;
The breeding project is well underway and we have a large surplus of babies and 5 week old quails. So I'm looking for people who want quail babies, 5 week old birds, breeding quads or birds for processing...We have Pharaohs, Tibetans, Golden A&Ms, and Tuxedos.
We have Pharaoh and Tibetan babies for $3 adults $5 each, Golden A&M babies $5 adults $8 each, Tuxedo babies $8 adults $10 each. As always, discounts for buying in numbers.
Located in So. Cal. Lake Elsinore area.

Let me know when you have some golden pheasants.

Hi All,
I'm new here. My parents recently bought a small ranch in Riverside County near Woodcrest and we're currently starting up a flock of layers. The layers are 6 ~12 week Rhode Island Red hens. They're currently with a Delaware and an Ameraucana cockerel. And we have a silkie rooster over a year old. We're also currently raising ~4 week old Silkie, Buff Orpington, Marans, Sicilian Buttercup, Phoenix chicks. We're planning on crossing the silkie with a cornish cross to try and get bigger silkies to butcher earlier for meat; we love black meat chicken.

Does anyone know of any LF cochin breeders in or near Riverside? They don't have to be purebred or high quality. My parents just want some cochins as meat birds.

Look forward to hearing from you guys! =]
