I don't have my flock yet..will be getting them Feb 3..getting everything ready first...I'll be getting 30 birds..mostly red star, black star and black giants. ..mainly for egg and company. .lol

Im in west covina. Have had chickens over 2 years. Domt make my mistake....BUILD A COOP FIRST LOL. I highly recomend having one of the plastic storage shed things from like home depo since you have so many. We started with 2 and it grew from there. I still dont have my coop up as i sliced my finger open putting the shed together a little over a year ago. So im afraid of the shed but now i have a friend redoing my run and going to put the shed together. Remember...coop first lol. Mine have been roosting in dog crates covered with tarps.

on yeah definitely building a coop..been working on it since the first of this month
